Do you want the good news first or the bad?

I guess I’ll go with the bad news first.

The Death of ESPN NFL Football

I read this morning that EA and ESPN have signed a deal to allow EA to have access to ESPN’s programming and personalities for 15 years. The deal would start in 2006 as there is one year left in the contract between SEGA and ESPN. This is sad, sad news. EA gets a little competition, they buy the whole world.

So, will SEGA and Take Two Interactive come out with a non-NFL/ESPN football game? We’ll see…

UPDATE: just read in another forum that John Madden’s contract with EA is up next year. Wouldn’t it be funny if SEGA signs a deal with Madden?

On to the good news (well, more like funny news)…

Bill Gates in Teen Beat magazine in 1983

I don’t know who found these but they are too funny…
